• 'Salpícón':

It's a fresh drink that you could find in anywhere in Bogota, that is prepared with a lot of fruit and orange juice (normally).

• Pieces of fruit:

Chopped fruit pieces and put into a glass. They are found in every corner of Bogota.

Bogota's tradeshows and parties

• 'Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro' :

This festival is conformed by the best plays by all the world.


Place: All theatres of the city.
Date: Between March and April (every two years).

• 'Feria Internacional del Libro':

This tradeshow gathers the most important collections of books. Bogota is recognized like "The World Book Capital" since 2007.

Place: Corferias (Carrera 37 Nº 24 - 67)
Date: Since 2011, in the first half of the year.

• 'Festival de Verano':

It's a reunion of some recreational and sports activities where also presents concerts, competitions and other cultural and sports activities.



Place: Parque Metropolitano Simon Bolivar
Date: In the month August of each year.
